Manchester United have been drawn at home against League One side Sheffield United in the Emirates FA Cup third round.
The tie will take place on Saturday 9 January, live on BT Sport in the UK, with kick-off at 17:30 GMT.
It will be the fifth time the Reds have faced the Blades in the competition and the third meeting at this particular stage. All four of United’s FA Cup ties against the South Yorkshire club have been away from home, with the Reds winning three of them – in 1990, 1994, 1995 – and losing the other in 1993.
The two third-round victories for the Reds are memorable for a superb Ryan Giggs winner in the 1-0 win in 1994 and a stunning chip from Eric Cantona to seal a 2-0 triumph at Bramall Lane a year later.
Sheffield United, who are currently 12th in League One, beat non-league Worcester City and then Oldham Athletic to make it to the third round and will look forward to their first visit to Old Trafford since April 2007 when the hosts won 2-0 in the Premier League.
