The Manchester United squad will fly out to the United States for Tour 2015, presented by Aon, with four new players after the Reds completed the signings of midfielders Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, following the earlier arrivals of Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay.

Louis van Gaal has named a 26-man squad for the trip during which United will play four games in the International Champions Cup, a trophy the Reds won last summer.

The squad’s plane will leave Manchester airport on Monday afternoon bound for Seattle on America’s West Coast with Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Darmian and Depay all on board. Fans will have their first chance to see the four new signings in action on Friday in the opening match of the tour against Club America. The game, at CenturyLink Field, will kick off in the early hours of Saturday morning UK time at 04:00 (20:00 on Friday evening local time).

Two players not part of the travelling squad are Angel Di Maria and Marcos Rojo, who are currently on holiday following their Copa America exertions for Argentina.

ManUtd.com reporters Nick Coppack, Mark Froggatt and Gemma Thompson will be travelling with the team throughout the stay in the States and will bring you exclusive news and interviews direct from the camp. And be sure to follow our daily rolling tour blog which will begin on Tuesday, live from Seattle.
